Guest guest
Hello Marisa! It's wonderful news about the baby and the fact that you are feeling OK at the moment. I think it is really important to check out what the doc meant. He may have forgotten or mixed you with someone else or he may simply have meant that he would be concerned if you were having particular CP issues at the moment.....pain etc. Either way, you will need both sets of docs involved now to be aware of the full picture. Sadly, docs often work in their own little framework or context rather than taking a holistic view of the patient's condition. If you're nervous, ask someone else to be with you when you phone. Better still, ask your GP to make an actual face-to-face appt with the specialist and have someone with you as well! I know it isn't always easy to say what you want to but it's really important for you now! Get this out of the way and then you can enjoy the pregnancy and preparing for the new arrival! Good luck, Fliss
