Guest guest
Dear Kim: The gaps book gives suggestions for how to get little one to eat vegetables. Fried vegetables get a better reception. It may be too early for fried but you can go back and start again once they are eating vegetables. Another important thing I do is to make sure the vegetables you are using are optimum, that they taste the best possible. I taste before I offer to my picky eater. Flower squash is so delicious fried in extra virgin olive oil. I cover the pan for about five minutes and then brown on each side, my picky eater, will eat and eat these. Also, find a sweet dressing that they like that they can dip the vegetables in. I tell mine they can't have their smoothie until vegetables are eaten. The GAPS book is not SCD compliant even though the author praises SCD she has protocols that do not conform.
