Guest guest
I cant remember which web page I brought it up on but if you email angel@... they can tell you what area of the country has centers. I used Angel Flight of Georgia. As a matter of fact when Bernadette called me yesterday, she said that one of the pilots, , had already offered to take me back if I needed to return to Cincy and expressed an interest in my well being. I was put aback by that, such kindness. Jim is my favorite pilot. He is 75yo retired navy fighter pilot in Korea and VN. If you saw him you would not think he is a day over 62. He flew me from Asheville to Cincy then from Cincy to Asheville. His plane is a bit older then the others but his skill is priceless. I picked up some more thank you notes today such acts of kindness deserve recognition. My scan went well today, and I stopped in at my unit to say hello. It was nice to see everybody and they were all pleased to see me. They all said, wow you look so good, lost weight, changed your hair, oohh laa laaa, for pete's sake I look like crap. But a little bs flattery can give you a little lift in your step. Oh and I picked up a cheap scanner so if I can get it fixed up and hooked correctly I'll scan some photos of my babies, they are so sweet and loving and were so happy to see me come home tonight....yup my dogs!!! I hope your feeling well, I am still aching from that bad spell wednesday. My surgeon did not tell me to come back for follow up. I sent him an email asking if I were to comeback and he did not reply. Shoot, I will need another script next week and maybe I should touch base with my pcp; Haven't seen her in almost a year; and it is a lot closer to my home. Wow, rambled on there now didn't I, sorry about that. I still dont know any more about the transplant, must be waiting on all the results still. I would like to know what was with the biopsies. The doc said before the EUS that if he saw something worth biopsing he would and then afterwards he said he did 2. But back to the old school of thought, no news is good news. HUgs to and to her MOm as well Chrissy
