Guest guest
>I put mine in ziploc bags that I get from whole foods. I put the bag on a scale then ladel the milk in. This way I know how many ounces are in each bag. I then lay them flat in the freezer to freeze with the date and quantity on the bag. This way I just lay the bags in the sink to thaw and they thaw quickly. I buy extra every month so I will have enough in the dry months. The lady I get my milk from freezes it is glass jars. If you do this be sure to leave enough room for expansion or you will have a big mess. Mandy > Does anyone freeze raw goat milk to get them through the winter/early spring months? Guest guest
Haven't done it myself, but I know plenty of others here do. I'm pretty sure it's a simple matter... you might want to freeze it in glass jars. Just leave some headspace... as it will expand when it freezes.
