Guest guest
Dear Anne: The best doctor in the west is Dr. Jane Buckner in Seattle, who is very capable and also happens to be an extremely nice lady. She has a lot of RP patients and is a noted researcher at the Virginia Mason Research Institute. In Portland I go to the Casey Eye Institute. I started with Dr. Rosenbaum who is a noted inflammatory eye disorder ophthalmalogist, who sent me to Dr. Mathers for treatment. They have a new and wonderful microscope there, and after looking into my eye with it, Dr. Mathers immediatley put me on prednisolone drops 3 times per day to start. I have tapered off and only use them once in a while now. I also use Timolol drops at night to control eye pressure from the prednisone. It is really important to see a good eye doctor as a lot of damage can be done to the eyes by RP. Don't wait. Good luck, Dagny -- __________________________________________________________________ Your favorite stores, helpful shopping tools and great gift ideas.
