Guest guest
I am afraid I am one of those who has also had shingles, and it is the most painful experience I have ever had. I would like everyone to know that if you can get to your doctor within the first three days of the first blister or symptom appearing, there is something they can give you now that will stop its progress. Unfortunately, the doctor I went to didn't know about it, and when I finally was able to get into Seattle and see my doctor at Virginia Mason he told me I should have just come on in to see him. I told him I was in too much pain to take the ferry, but I wish I had. It was weeks before I was pain free. I don't know of anything that will bring relief. The pills the doctor on the island gave me left me with such a dry mouth that I was in misery with that as well as the shingles. And it didn't help either. It does get better in time, so take heart. It does come to an end. Dagny __________________________________________________________________ Your favorite stores, helpful shopping tools and great gift ideas.
