Guest guest
Hi , You can go to these following web sites to print out (or order) information for your doctor. Your doctor can then decide which test he/she feels is best. I don't know the cost of either of these tests, but insurance should cover them. 1) Exatest by Intracellular Diagnostics, Inc. Doctor takes a tiny sample of cells by scraping under the tongue. Test shows current nutritional status. http://www.exatest.com 2) Functional Intracellular Analysis (FIA) by SpectraCell Labs. Non-fasting blood test measuring vitamins, minerals, and amino acids in lymphocytes (white blood cells). Test shows nutritional status over the past few months, not days, like conventional serum blood tests. http://www.spectracell.com Kim --- " ANDREA FITTING " <drea@m...> wrote: Hi, I am wondering what the test is that gives a better idea about mg levels than the blood test. 's doc's want to do the blood test but they are open to the idea of other testing. What is the name of the other test. I believe that it had to do with mg on a cellular level. How is the other testing done? any info would be great! Thanks!
Guest guest
, Kim May have already gotten this to you but I thought I would let you know in case. It is done by Exatest Labs. The web site is www.exatest.com. My doc is also looking into doing this for Colgan. When I told him about doing this he looked at me like I was crazy. I think that he was surprised that I knew about it and he did not. Ashauna
