Guest guest
, It certainly could be die-off. I think most reports we get from parents have the kids feeling really crummy, flu-ish and grumpy or whiney.... and not having it be over and done with quite so quickly. But, you know... each kid is unique. The thing that most leads me to believe it was a little burst of die-off detoxing is that he is doing really well now and had another good BM. Die-off often seems to be followed by a period of improvement. Patti, mom to Katera Is this die-off? My son woke up this a.m., and (of course) as soon as the ABA therapists came in, he started throwing up just whatever bit of liquid he had in his stomach, which wasn't much. He threw up about every 15 mins for about three hours, and it seemed he couldn't keep anythng down. (I was having him take small sips of seltzer water/ice, etc.) then it stopped and he was asking for pancakes by lunchtime! Could this have been some detox going on, or just a bug of some kind? No fever and he just looked a bit pale. Tonight he is doing very well and even had yet another perfect stool. (no enzymes, no nothing, just SCD now for about 6 days.) He has been eating all day long since lunchtime w/ no problems. BTW, we made the yogurt, and he hasn't had any, but it sure turned out yummy. That stuff mixed with a little honey is scrumptious! (sorry to mix food info w/ the above information!)
