Guest guest
My son, Briar, is going thru the process of getting use to his helmet. He had no red spots untill yesterday when he was to wear it for 6-8 hours and 1 off. He now has a red spot like a rug burn above his left eye(he has also been sleeping with this eye open when he has the helmet on). Should I keep it off or just wait till it goes away and try again. It is Thursday and his ortho is out of the office and his follow up is next Tuesday.I just do not want it to cause a open sore! Has anyone had this problem? Thanks, Shandy
Guest guest
my best advice would be to keep it off until the spot goes away and then do skin checks every three hours until you can be seen again. it could be nothing more than heat rash, but better safe than sorry!good luck and keep us posted! hollymum to almost 8-month-old twins alex (in doc band since 1/5/09) and max (no band required)On Thu, Feb 5, 2009 at 9:56 AM, so545462 <so545462@...> wrote: My son, Briar, is going thru the process of getting use to his helmet.
