Guest guest
Oh Debbie, I am so sorry you had such a horrible day. I know what you mean about feeling the same pain that your kids feel. I always feel extra guilty because they wouldn't be going through the pain if I hadn't taken them to the doctor. My head knows that is not logical, but my heart does not. I am so sorry to hear that something might be wrong with Mike. I will be praying for him. To those of you who have not had the good fortune to meet Debbie (Ebbieday) and Mike, they are both wonderful people. Mike is definitely a keeper. He was so sweet both times I have met him. This list is the right place to ask for prayers that all will be well with him. I am so glad that you got your packet in! That is one good thing that happened today! You just have to hope in your heart that everything turns out well for all of you. I will be thinking of you.. if you want to talk, you can email me privately or call. I don't have your number, or I would call you. Take care, and Mike and your whole family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Things are better today, although we still haven't heard from the cardiologist grrrrrrrrr. I really have a problem with stuff like this when they say they will call you that night with a problem report, and then don't do it... My heart's desire for having this surgery IS to regain my health and be able to be an active participant with my family. Life has proven to be WAY too short with all the things that have happend in the last several months. I want each moment to be a memory. Thanks you guys ebbieday in VA

I'm so sorry to hear about your husband's health problems. I'm saying a prayer for Mike and your family right now and my Charlie too. My husband is having a heart problem right now too. He has had congestive heart failure for about 7 years and I have noticed that his health has deteriorated recently. I wanted to have MGB so that I would be able to care for him if necessary down the road. We returned from our vacation early because he was having so much difficulty breathing. The doctor put him in the hospital on 8/1 and he is still there. I believe the doctors are going to have him transferred to s Hopkins for evaluation for a heart transplant. He is emphatic that I go ahead and have my surgery but our doctor says this is not a good time and I need to wait. We have been tossing out different ideas to make this happen but things are so complicated right now. I need to see things settle down a bit before I can proceed. Best wishes for you, ebbieday, and hopefully everything will work out. in land
Guest guest
Oh ! I am so sorry to hear about your husband. I didn't think he acted like he felt very well at Amy's. I hope he gets to feeling better soon...this heat makes it that much harder to recover from CHF. Keep me posted on what s Hopkins says. Mike is having another cardiac cath either tomorrow or Friday, we're trying to get it scheduled. His cardiologist FINALLY called last night...turns out the stress test results were too vague for his complaint of left arm pain, so to be on the safe side, he wants to do a cath. He told Mike he doesn't need to cut back on activity, and in fact, Mike is working on the local ambulance today with Dr's approval. So it must not be too bad, we hope. I'm proceeded with surgery, but have found it will be at least a week before I can schedule due to the packet needing to be approved. Makes it really hard for scheduling time off from work... :-( But I know that God's timing is perfect. I don't LIKE it, but I know that's true. Hopefully you can gain some peace from that too. We get the MGB in our heads, and are full steam ahead, but we need to be sure the timing is right. God knows what's ahead of us, we don't. I'll be praying for your husband and you during this hard time. I know it's exhausting. ebbieday in VA > > Hi Debbie, > > I have been wondering about you and your MGB progress (Debbie and I > met at Amy Poe's house on 6/24).
