I don't remember the name of the anaesthetic they use for me during

my ERCP's but it does begin with a P, and is based on eggs..they

always ask me if I am allergic to eggs, because it is the key

ingredient..I do know that when they say goodnight..I go fast to

sleep. and I never wake up in the middle of the procedure like I

used to using verced and fentanyl.

If your surgery is in the neck you did not say what lymphnode

area, there are many in the neck, axilla, groin. I would think it

could be done under local anesthesia with a minimum of problems

associated, that would decrease any risk of anesthesia related

problems they might just give a little versed or diprovan to take

you down slightly.
