Carol said: Celiac seems like the most difficult of the gastric diseases to

heal......a compromised immune system in my case was helped by SCD because

otherwise I was in constant pain from both exposures and adverse food

reactions.......

Carol or anyone, since we are in the middle of a TITLE WAVE hitting little KiKi

can you please tell us more to why you said this. She is a true mess again.

Better than before SCD, when she got into a mess, but a mess all the same.

Delirium came back last night, only lasted 10 minutes compared to 45...but back.

Only one seizure so far...nock on wood! She still is trying to talk though

(yeah!), still smiling (yeah), hasn't taken that away. So still better than

when we started SCD! Yet several set backs. Intro has pretty much gotten rid

of her diarrhea again.

We have doubled up on the acidophilus and yogurt as suggested by other " healed "

SCDers. It seemed to have worked. There is NO DOUBT THAT HER IMMUNE SYSTEM IN

COMPROMISED....the darn doctors just can't define it....please tell more.

ANYONE. Give hope, give warning, give suggestions please...anything!

What you said here, rises much concern, in light of Elaine saying 1 year to heal

from CD (we had put all our eggs in one basket so to speak!).....my husband and

I, after battling this horrible condition for over 15 months prior to SCD, now

feel that we will never stop eating this way too! We have never felt

better....yet this set back with KiKi has SCARED US.....especially since little

KiKi has the autistic symptoms. We worry about her " starving " brain!

Antoinette and (celiac), parents to KiKi-2 celiac/autistic SCD since 2/06

I will not go into detail as although MCS only affects a small segment

of the population it is on the rise because in our prevailing toxic

society there is an abundance of synthetics and chemicals that can

provoke an already weak immune system.

My suggestion is for you to seek out an MCS support group on Yahoo to

learn what triggers reactions and the best protective methods to use. I

regret that I am unable to address this further on Pecanbread but I

will email you my personal list of products and precautions that helped

and close by saying until I implemented SCD I was in constant pain and

it helped me as much as the other measures I took suggestons from the

MCS and Latex Allergy support lists as long as non compliant SCD things

were not among them. Please do not get so caught up in this that it

becomes an additional conflict or " red herring " in regards to the

solutions you are now using for Kiki.
