Guest guest Posted August 11, 2000 Report Share Posted August 11, 2000 While it's great to have a PCP who is gung ho for you to have the surgery, your PCP does not have to agree with your decision to have the surgery, she only has to agree to monitor you and do necessary follow-ups and coordinate with Dr. Rutledge if need be, after the surgery.
