Guest guest
Tammy, I order SCD legal multiples from Kirkman and open the capsules into applesauce for my daughter. She can't swallow pills either. The caps are small... so it's not much powder. It DOES have a taste...all B vitamins do... so I can't say whether your son will accept it. If you're ordering these for yourself anyway, maybe you could trying opening one and mix it into something for him. Have a few bites of " unpolluted " food or drink handy to wash it down with. I highly doubt that there would be any chewable C that would be legal. They would have to sweeten it with something, or it would be incredibly sour. Besides, I've heard that chewable C is really hard on tooth enamel... so it's best to swallow it down. I'd try mixing just a bit of the C powder into a very small amount of applesauce and having him swallow it in one gulp... with something tasty to pop in his mouth right after. Patti Please help with Supplements for my son I am looking into getting supplements for myself and my son. I am basing my choices on the recommendations in BTVC. I think I need a B-complex and a C. We already have zinc drops, vit E caps and Natural Calm magnesium that are all legal. We take CLO every day per BTVC recommendations. I will order the legal B-complex and C for myself from Kirkman but. I am not sure how to proceed for my son. He is only two and cannot take a capsule. It looks like he just needs a B-complex and a C. What would your recommendations be for brands or forms? Are there any forms of chewable C that are legal? I have C powder but it makes the juice taste terrible and then he won't drink it. Are there powder forms of B? Help! Tammy

Guest guest
Hi Tammy, There is a legal SCD B complex at http://www.lucyskitchenshop.com/freedavitamins.html (It is called 'SCD B Complex') You can crush these and add to cool foods/or juices/water. If you use the kirkman's B Complex maybe you can dump the contents of the capsule and add to some food. Sheila, SCD 2/01, UC 22yrs mom of and > the legal B-complex and C for myself from Kirkman but.
