Picking myself up, dusting off my butt and getting back on the saddle again

Hi Kids!

Thank you all for your kind words and thoughts that were sent my way.

I was in such a funk that I just had to get my feelings of

frustration and desperation out or blow up. Now that I've had a good

night sleep, a nice morning walk, friendly words from fellow MGBers

and a return of the infamous " Banks " women determination (read - too

damn stubborn for my own good), I'm ready to fight the good fight.

So I'm following Simmon's FoodMover Plan, getting my butt up

at 5:30 am to walk and keeping busy reading Dr. R's website and the

MGB list. I'm also in the process of looking for another job so I may

have a chance to switch insurance companies early.

I also decided to review my information on RNY in the event my weight

or the insurance doesn't cooperate. I still consider MGB to be

superior, however I've decided to take what I've learned from Dr. R's

patient manual and apply it to the RNY.

I even took the first step in contacting my PCP for a physical and

referral. I also contacted Pacific Bariatrics in San Diego to make an

appt. for one of their seminars.

No matter what...I am committed to losing this weight. This time I

will not give up. I'm going to do everything in my power to do it

right and be a success.
