Guest guest
Hi y'all, The last ten days or more have been great, as I reported a few days ago. Few occasions of severe pain, and my duragesic patch and the BT Percocet has handled whatever came up very well. Last night, halfway through dinner, it felt like I got hit by a fast thrown football in the gut. The pain came suddenly out of nowhere and was fierce and furious in its intensity. I couldn't finish my meal, in fact I couldn't even sit back upright and couldn't move for over an hour. Waves of nausea hit at the same time, and I struggled with it for half an hour before I finally had to nearly crawl to the bathroom in haste with an all too familiar diarrhea attack. It was so sudden and so sharp that I got worried about the pseudocysts rupturing and immediately took my temp, but it was it's usual 97.2.....so no problem there. My husband was at a meeting last night, and came home at 10:00 to find me in bed with the heating pad on my belly and cat by my side. He took one look at my face and said " oh no, not again " ... I had taken my meds as soon as it hit and had to double them a few hours later before I could sleep. Woke up at 2:00 am still in pain. Woke up at 8:00 am feeling absolutely terrific, like nothing had ever happened! I had a great, busy day, lunch was no problem and no meds all day, and then tonight at dinner, halfway through, the same darn thing happened, but even worse this time with the nausea and pain. What the dickens is going on? The food's been the same old, same old, so I know it's not that. I've been eating just fine with no problems for two weeks now. Then I read 's post....aha.....maybe we've sharing sympathetic symptoms or something. I know it's just this same old unpredictable disease playing it's tricks on me again, but whatever it is, please tell it to go away! Oh, well, tomorrow's another day. We'll see how it goes.
