His head sounds almost the same as my daughter's at that age. She wore a

starband for 5 mo (a long time) but did very well. You can see her pictures in

the photos section under Our Plagio Babies S/Sydney M. There is also a picture

of her starscan showing the outline before and after. If your ortho is good you

should see good results too. What kind of band are you getting?

My daughter adjusted well to her band, and the time flew by.

Cephalic Ratio: .975, Cranial Vault: 4.5. He'll be 5 months on 4/8/09, so I'm

praying that he'll have a bunch of growth spurts and good progress will be made

within the 3-4 months of helmet wearing.

not sure what is " good " and " bad " , all I know is that he is above the deviation

for the norm and that a lot of brachy kids start over 100.

group has helped me tremendously in educating myself on the " what if's " . I was

really emotional when I got home, but I have about 2 weeks to get used to the

idea and I do believe that any improvement is worthwhile in the long run.

chance for his brachy to come back? Especially since he is a die hard sleeper on

the back of his head even though I have been repositioning him for the past

month. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to prevent this? He'll be 7 or

8 months by then, so he'll be sitting up by himself during the day and possibly

sleeping on his stomach. But is there anything that I can do for the 3-4 months

of band wearing to help prevent a future occurrence?

Hi , Luke is getting a STARband. Sydney looks great! You must be so

pleased with the results. Thank you for your message. Made me feel more

hopeful since Luke is starting at the same mm's as Sydney.
