For my son, this is either phenols or yeast. No Fenol helps my kids

a lot with both. Would they consider trying that?

Hi Dave,

Just wanted to say that I have this problem too. With mine (Ambien C.R.)

I was told to take it 15 minutes before bedtime. Well, I was still

wide awake for hours. Taking into consideration that I have been taking

sleeping meds since 2000 also, when I had my surgery done, I know

I've got the tolerance of an ox, so I kept taking it but slowly moved

the time I take it up earlier until I got it figured out. It takes me

hours as well before getting the desired effects from it, but still

sleep is intermittent for me also, maybe 2 - 3 hours at a time max.

Every now and then I will sleep thru the night and it freaks me out!

It makes me wonder if I forgot taking a pill and maybe took two,

which would not be a good thing! Also, with Ambien C.R. I did experience

sleep walking the first couple of weeks, which went away, but most

people don't like to take this med. because of the strength and side

effects from it.

Just thought you'd like to know you aren't the only one with this

problem.

Feel better!

Debbie

Hello all, I'm a brand new member. My 9 month old son just got a helmet

over a week ago. And he is having a very hard time sleeping at night

and his naps are all over the place. He used to have one 1 1/2 hr nap

and a two nap during the day. Now we are lucky if he gets one 1 1/2 hr

nap. At night he toses and turns as soon as he is asleep, wakes up ever

so often but goes back to bed after a binkie. Right around 1-2am he is

up and crying there is no consoling him at all. Last night after 90

minutes or so of rocking him and letting him cry we took the helemt off

and he went back to sleep (after calming down). We would apericate any

tips/advise to get past this. Do we let him cry it out? Do we take the

helmet off?

Thank you all in advance,

Joaquin
