Dear Friends:

As the East Coast Migrant Stream Forum

National Contact and Planning Committee Chair, I am working very hard on

spreading the word and encouraging advocates to attend the conference. If

you are already registered please help me spread the word, if you aren’t…there’s

still time!!

The Forum will be held at the Providence

Biltmore Hotel in Providence,

Rhode Island on October 23-25,

2008.  This year’s program will include 30 workshops focusing on

programmatic, legislative, outreach, clinical and research topics which will

provide an opportunity for participants to enhance their knowledge about

healthcare issues, funding opportunities and resources as they relate to

Farmworkers along the East Coast. This year, the Forum will also include

a well-known keynote speaker, Quiñones, ABC Correspondent.

Participants will be given opportunities to network with each other and

rejuvenate themselves for another year of such passionate work.

The North Carolina Community Health Center

Association (NCCHCA) originally created this conference in 1988 and since then

it has been duplicated in the Mid-West and Western streams. I have

attached the registration form for your convenience but feel to register online

via our website at: http://www.ncchca.org/336935.ihtml.

This year promises to be a great event!

Take a look at the attached highlights for the conference and for further

information about this year’s program click on http://www.ncchca.org/345482.ihtml.

NCCHCA truly appreciates your support and

we look forward to seeing you this year!
