Guest guest Posted June 14, 2006 Report Share Posted June 14, 2006 An acidic gut is not caused by oxalates, excess oxalates are a symptom of an acidic gut, an acidic gut is a symptom of leaky gut and pathogenic infections, maldigestion and malabsorption of ones food. Reducing oxalates will not heal the cause of the problem.
