Guest guest
If anyone else has problems getting to the yahoo groups website...give this a shot. Hello, Thank you for writing to Yahoo! Groups. The problem you describe may be caused by Java settings or cookie settings. We are including both sets of steps for you to try. = = = = = Microsoft has indicated that login problems and page view problems in Internet Explorer 6 are most likely attributed to cookie settings. These instructions are mainly to lower the system cookie restrictions. 1. Click Tools, and then click Internet Options. 2. On the Privacy tab, move the slider to Low or Accept All Cookies as needed to permit the web site to work properly. Note: If the slider is not available, click Default, and then perform step 2. 3. Click OK, and then attempt to access the web site service again. = = = = = Changing your Java settings: 1. Run Internet Explorer 2. Select the Tools menu 3. Choose Internet Options 4. Click on the Security tab 5. Click on Custom Level 6. Click on Java Custom Settings 7. Click on the Edit Permissions tab 8. Find Run Signed Content 9. Select Enable 10. Save changes by clicking " OK " 3 times = = = = = The following Microsoft Knowledgebase articles are helpful and contain more detailed explanations when experiencing cookie or login problems.
