Guest guest
HI e! Well we ARE neighbors huh? Except my husband and I are from Texas! We moved here(actually to Whittier) in'81, had no money, had Nick, soon followed, then was diagnosed and life (as you said) as we knew it was changed forever. Not always in a bad way. CF gives you a different prospect on life. When I joined cystic-l (I think it was in '96)I was thrilled to find a 60-something year old man wcf., he's now 70 something and still with us. And now there are so many different internet groups (back then we only had cystic-l) and there really is something for everyone. I wish I had this kind of support back when Ang was a baby. Then I awaited anxiously for each monthly meeting of our CF Parents support group, and read and re read anything I could get my hands on related to CF. I am not sure where I am going with this, its late, I am rambling! Better get to bed. But it is great to have you with us, we are always happy to have new members even though it is a rough diagnosis. love, mom of Nick age 21 no cf and age 19 wcf
