I guess it is a safeguard for the public if the state board must approve certain types of procedures, but in this day and age people will just go out-of-state. Didn't RR recently have a 'Michigan Day' in surgery? And didn't Michigan BCBS approve MGB? How did you know to 'push' them? Boy, I'll bet there is some intensive lobbying going on in the states where the BOH has to approve! Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
