Subject: RE: Re: The waiting begins......

Has anyone run across the problem that your PCP insist on faxing your H & P

and Lab results to Dr. R. I fear he will think I am not following

instructins for the packet, but they insist. I know they don't want a

million faxes a day, I am going to continue to push to get my own copy to

mail in.

Bob,

I can dig it. My old PCP wants to send my medical records to Dr. R and not

give them to me. " I'ts our policy " .

These people need to realize that healthcare is changing. Patients are

being asked to take charge of their own healthcare these days. At least

thats true for Dr. R's patients, we want it we have to prove and work for

it. Its the psychiatric test of the pre-op screening that is mentioned in

the patient manual. If you make it to surgery without killing someone,

getting a divorce, being committed or put in jail you are sane and fit for

surgery.

Besides what are they hiding and why don't they want us to see it?

Oh well, I will continue to push also.

Robin

Hoping to survive the psy test in

Steele,

All you need to do is sign a release from your doctors office to get

copies of all of your labs and paper work. You have a right to any thing

you want in your chart.

Thanks,

Betty
