in Denver,

Thanks for the info on your dealings with Cigna. I am told there is

an exclusion in my policy for WLS. However, we don't have a handbook

and my husband's company says they don't have one either. I just

have to go by what I am told when I call Cigna. I told them I know

they cover it sometimes when it is deemed medically necessary and

they said that that does happen. I have seen others on this website

that Cigna paid. I have not asked yet about coverage in case of

complication. I was waiting for the official yes or no.

I also asked them if treatment for anexoria or bulimea was covered

and they said yes. So they treat you if you're too thin but not if

you're too fat. Both are life threatening. I think that's

discrimination. But they say the last legal discrimination is

against the obese.

I know where Denver is, it's close. If you need to vent some more my

phone number is 540-9313.
