Guest guest
Hello, I have been on this diet for about 2 months now and for the past week I've finally started have 'normal' well formed stools (although they are very green). This is after 10 years of IBS-D so I am definitely happy! I've been having a lot of eggs, one because they taste good and two because they are easy to make. My question is: How many per day is too many? I'm having 3 per day right now for breakfast. I have limited myself to 3 but could easily eat more. As a side note I stopped having diarrhea the day after I cut out almond muffins (I was having 3-4 per day since the start of the diet). I know it was probably too much right in the beginning but I have been trying to gain some much needed weight. I haven't tried reintroducing yet. I have been having a small amount of almond butter. I suspect it was the muffins but I started some other things, non diet, at the same time so I am not sure. Thanks, Vito IBS-D since '96 SCD since June '
