Guest guest
Hi Connie, Wonderful news about the blood sugars, I am in the same boat with that. Are You still on any of the diabetes drugs? My major reason for having this surgeryis to get out from under the heavy burden of diabetes. I am so happy for you and will hopefully be following your lead with my own blood sugares in a few weeks. Thanks for a beautiful and hope inspiring post. My grandmother has had diabetes since her 3rd pregnancy (it never went away).. she's insulin dependent, and has maintained a very healthy life, and is now 67 years old. But every one of her 7 brothers and sisters also have diabetes, and all of them haven't been as lucky as my grandmother... one of her sisters died just last October from complications of diabetes. From what I've seen, it's nothing I want to contract, and if I keep on the road I'm on, it's inevitable... between my genes and my weight, I'll get it by the time I'm 40 if I don't get healthier.
