Guest guest
Hi Debbie, I happened to see your post to about sed rates. I have been meaning to post the same question myself, which you have now answered as to what a sed rate is and what it means. I have CP and SOD. I have been having horrible body aches, actually pain, for several months now. My ANA and rheumatoid factor have been negative, but my sed rate has been elevated slightly, sometimes higher, for over a year now. All my docs just tell me " not to worry about it. " I feel like I am 100 years old when I try to get up in the morning. My feet hurt so bad I can't get them moving for about 2 minutes. today, it is in my shoulder really bad, can't raise is up or out hardly at all. When I see my internist again I will ask him about this and tell him it has been elevated for over a year (I was seeing another doctor until about 5 months ago) so he doesn't know this. Any more information or suggestions you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Thoughts and prayers. T. (Ohio)
