Guest guest
Hi all! We are new to the diet, my 26 month old little boy has been GF/CF for 6 months and initially did better, but the gut bugs are still winning. He is a " gut " kid with diarrhea for over a year, sometimes flamming acid kind (I think it's the orange food thing). He has had IGg and IGe test and has only a IGg to cow's milk, penuts, ALMONDS, walnuts, and brewers yeast. I have had him SCD GF/CF low oxalate for 2 weeks, aside from the die off (nasty BM with black fecks like sand) he has had firm poop finally! Every day except the first two on the diet and Sunday (at church of course)which I think was due to bata-carotine. AND TODAY... He didn't go at all yesterday and today he had a yuck BM again. It looked like he didn't digest any of the steamed frozen green beans he ate. There were stringy yucky and still peices of green beans. He has eaten green beans before, so I am bummed out. Also, he as been super silly drunk again like when he has bad yeast.. Can the honey feed the yeast? Thank you for all of your support. I know this diet will help him get well. It may help until his gut has healed a bit more. > Also, he as been super silly drunk again like when he has bad yeast.. > Can the honey feed the yeast?
