Guest guest
Fliss, The tingling in the feet was something I had, too. I noticed it particularly last year before my diabetes diagnosis. I don't notice it anymore now that I'm on insulin. My Endocrinologist said it was from the diabetes onset, but I fortunately don't have any neuropathy at this time. It apparently takes years to develop, and only if the diabetes is in poor control. I wouldn't be surprised that because of the severity of your loss of pancreatic function, that you may be experiencing this also. As you've said, your doctors have warned you that your diabetes is just around the corner. This may just be one of those early warning signs. I have no doubt that our osteopenia is related to our CP. ka, another member, has it also, and she is much younger than either you or I are. It all goes back to the malabsorption, I would think. I can understand that you're probably not in any great hurry to explore this further right now. Haven't we seen enough of doctors for the time being? I'm looking forward to some good days and a bit of a break away from all these doctor's appointments every 3 weeks. If this medication increase continues to handle my pain I'm asking my doctor to give me a few months off....doesn't that sound like a great idea? With hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H.
