Guest guest
Hi Robin, When you said that you lived in eastern land, I was wondering if you were anywhere near Ocean City. We used to go there every year from 82-88 for a Family Vacation, but it was always the end of July to the first week in August. You busy season and it just got too crowded for us. You had 100,00 people in a 10-15 area and when you started in the Northern part with all the high rises, we would have to go down to the beach at 8am just to claim our small part of your lovely beach. I was back there in October of 99 for a week with my sister and mother, and it was very nice and quite. All lot of the boardwalk was still open. It was the week just before Columbus Day weekend and all lot of the placed told us they do close down for the season after that weekend. They told us it's was sort of the last Hurrah of summer for the DC area folks, that get long weekends. The first time I ever was in Ocean City, way in 65-67, and the changes are unbelievable. We now go to the Outer Banks, Nags Head Area , NC, for vacation. We can rent a house for about the same price as a condo. We are going there this year with our best friends, this year again. We already have our place rented for the Week of July 18. But, in my heart, there will be always be a special place for Ocean City. My sister lived there for about a year and 1/2 in 71-72, when her husband work for the police department there. They have since been divorced. I bet it so nice and peaceful on warm days, just to take a walk on the beach. To me a very relaxing vacation is the beach. I always loved to eat at and I always found a very good placed that we all loved in Fenwick, DE. It was called Warren's Station. It's was on the Left side of the road going North. As a matter of fact, my sister has Moved to Clearwater Beach,FL, and she comes North to Bethany Beach, DE, each Sept, to go spend to week at the beach with her Friends from Columbia, MD, that they all went to church together. Some have moved away, as far as California and still come back each year for their Beach Week. They have done it for over 25 years now. As a matter of fact I told my husband and daughters that I want to be cremated when I die and be scatter over the bay the named for me in Ocean City. Well, that's what my husband has always told me, they named one of your bays after me- It's BIG ASSAWOMAN BAY!!!!!!!! I hope that this finds you having a good day. Take Care, Louie in WV SUZ > I go to a retreat in Frederick once a year the Christian Brothers Retreat House. It's a beautiful location, on top of a big hill, with cows all around. Very spiritual. So, we're not too far away from each other. I live in Ocean City, land. I also have a very good friend who lives in Poolesville. The pictures he's shared of his area are awesome too! You sound like you are taking good care of yourself. I just have a feeling you will be fine! > > > Robin R. > Sr. Production Planning Specialist > * (ext. 102) > * (fax) > robin.cox@... > > > > > -------------------------------------------------------- > This e-mail and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the > individual or entity to whom they are addressed. > If you have received this e-mail in error please notify the system manager: > postmaster@... > This e-mail and its attachments have been scanned for the presence of computer viruses, however > it is always advisable to run a virus check on e-mails and attachments before opening them. > -------------------------------------------------------- > > >
Guest guest
Yep. I think that is what my GI doctor thought -- with the diet and enzymes my pancreas would calm down, but it's gotten worse. Thanks for the support. Tammy
