Guest guest
Good morning Sonja, I am glad you are finding it helpful to be in touch with everyone on the board. That companionship is so important wheile you get used to the condition. It is true that pancreatitis (chronic) is a very difficult disease to diagnose until and unless there are very obvious signs such as calcifications in the pancreas or other observable and visible changes. The symptoms can be confused with the symptoms of other conditions. You need a very experienced gastroenterologist or pancreas specialist whose experience can help him or her in a diagnosis. I am glad you are getting a new doc in Sweden. This will be much easier than having to go elsewhere. I hope it won't be long until you have a more definite diagnosis and some relief from your unpleasant and painful symptoms.
