Guest guest
Hellp Heidi, Hope you are feeling better now. I was wondering if you still taking Antox. I have been thinking about looking into this again as I have devvided at least to postpone the TP for a while. If I remember correctly from the last time I looked into the matter, they are very expensive! Do you still feel they help? I know it is difficult to judge because this is a patchy disease at times and symptoms can fluctuate. I probably wouldn't be able to get them on prescription because my GP will not be asked by either of my specialists to prescribe it because they are still sceptical. As they are so dear, I don't think my GP will prescribe without instructions to do so from a consultant. There new trials just starting in the UK. Did you know? It's felt that the Manchester ones ones were insufficient although they seemed optimistic. Anyway, quite a few hospitals are on the list to be involved in these clinical trials but not Liverpool. I'll be interested to see what happens. I have a feeling that you can't get every single ingredient separately here in the UK. Methianone (SP?) may not be avaialble. That would be ironic since the thing sold as a whole is a British product!! I'l have to check this out. In the meantime I'm just taking a good antioxidant from the chemist's! Better than nothing but not as specific as the Antox. BTW, I must confess to a liking for coffee. I read somewhere to-day that it at least contains antioxidants!! I don't really want to hear about all the bad things about it! Alcohol I can do without but coffee would be so hard to give up! I drink lots of water as well! Keep painfree Heidi, Fliss
