Debs-

I'm sorry to hear that you ended up in the hospital again. I've heard of that

kind of low blood pressure before, it happened to me for several days in a

row while I was in the hospital in October. My normal blood pressure runs

around 110/70. Very rarely any higher, in fact the highest its ever been was

yesterday when the dentist took it before starting my IV for the sedation I

insisted upon to have my root canal done. Yesterday it was 137/68. When I

remarked about this unusually high 137 for me, he said it was due to

nervousness about the root canal, and not to worry about it. The dentist said

that the only time for real alarm is when the second number goes too high.

What is your normal blood pressure like?

While I was in the hospital I was hooked up to a dilaudid pain pump for 4

days. My blood pressure ran anywhere from 90/60 to the lowest one time of

68 over 30!!! I asked the nurses about it several times, because it was low

every day but one, and never was given a straight answer, and then naturally,

when the doctor showed up for his daily visits, I'd forgotten all about it. No

one freaked out about it except for me, and my husband when he saw it, so I

guess it wasn't anything too extreme or I would have expected the nurses to

bring it to the attention of my doctor.

Sorry that this doesn't answer your question. If you do find anything else

about what this could mean, please share it with the rest of us. I'll do the

same. Truthfully, I'd forgotten all about it until you mentioned it.

I'm glad you're home now, and hope you're doing better. Tell Colin not to

worry, you're one tough cookie and you just know that we can't afford to

forget about our antioxidants now, can we?

With hope and prayers,

Heidi
