MY MGB IS SCHEDULED!!

Hello all,

I've posted a couple of other times in the past couple weeks, but

either missed the responses, or somehow the posts didn't appear.

Anyway...just wanted to share the news that I have been accepted,

approved, and scheduled for Dr. Rutledge on Wed, Aug. 30, patient

#6. I have the clinic visit on Tuesday, Aug. 29th, and was just

wondering if anyone else out there is a 'littermate?' I will be

traveling to Wisconsin with my 69 yr. old mother, and am hoping to

find an MGB " angel " to help me out with directions to all the places

from the hotel, etc. Also, she doesn't like driving much, so I'm

trying to stay at the closest hotel that has a refrig, and microwave

and two double beds that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. My airfare

alone is a killer without a 21 days notice...but it's worth it

Let me know if there is anyone who is interested in helping me out,

ie: 1) should I pick up the meds before I go, 2)should I be taking

any 'particular' clothes with me..loose fitting, 3)any unexpected

procedures once I finally get to the hospital, like some report

essay... you know, the usual questions. I'm SOOOO excited after

being overweight all my life, I finally see the light at the end of

the tunnel. Oh, here's my stats...female, 45, 5'2 " , 325, BMI: 59,

self-pay, married, no kids (just dogs), just started new job a month

ago in the computer field and already need time off...oh well:) it's

for a " good cause. " Hope to hear from others! Keep trying and NEVER

GIVE UP YOUR DREAM!
