Guest guest
Was Fiona drinking formula or was she tube fed? I didn't know kids could drink formula after age 1. I think you may be right about the high carb diet. I have modified my sons diet thanks to 's advice and his bowel movements are much better. He seems to be much happier too. I was giving him everything with fat that I could think of. I misunderstood the nutritionist and was giving Zach anything that had a lot of fat grams on the label. I am beginning to learn that not all fats are created equal. Some may be better for him to absorb and others may be better for him to avoid. What is maltodextrine ? Guest guest
Hi, Nope, Fiona wasn't tube fed. And of course can kids drink formula when they are older. It is a well balanced and easy to digest food. Our clinic knew that Fiona would not eat normal food and we have an extended blood test once a year to make sure she doesn't suffer from malabsorption. Maltodextrin is an easy to digest mixture of tasteless carbs. It's usually used by bodybuilders and long-distance cyclists. I think that Polycose is something similar but haven't compared the ingredients. Peace Torsten, dad of Fiona 6wcf and Sebastian newborn wocf e-mail: torstenkrafft@...
