Just my two cents (that will be four cents if I give you organic)

First - I love organic. In Toronto we have organic farmer's markets and

entire organic sections in supermarkets. Second, I don't love spending

an extra $200 a month on food which is what happens if I buy EVERYTHING

at Whole Foods. And when I joined Costco, it was the pot of cheese at

the end of the rainbow.

I learned that there are a few things that Whole Foods does best, meat,

fish and poultry.

But when it comes to eggs, butter and cheese Costco is half the price

and if I do scrupulous scrutiny I can find a few good organic items at

Costco like coffee and frozen green beans. Organic fresh produce is at

the farmer';s market or supermarket.

My best friend eats ONLY organic but she also eats rice and sugar.

Elaine thought organic was very desirable once you mastered SCD. That

was the priority.

For families that are taking a beating just to afford some nut flour,

organic may be out of the question. For families that can't even find

DCCC I their area, organic is a far off dream.

So if you can't be organic, don't worry. Just get on track with

correctly following SCD.

If you can, you will appreciate the difference between a hard, sour

strawberry with a white center and an juicy red one that is tasty and

sweet through and through.
