Guest guest Posted August 9, 2000 Report Share Posted August 9, 2000 Hi everyone, I haven't posted in a while; so much to do for kids school and summer fun!! Well, it will be 3 months since my surgery on August 15th and I wanted to let you know how I am doing. I have lost 60 lbs (YEAHHHH) and a lot of inches! I am down from a size 32 to a size 22/24. I have alot more energy now and feel great. I am trying new foods every day and some are good and some are not so good, but I'm learning! For the most part I forget about eating and have to remind myself to have a little something so I don't get nauseated. My favorites are tomatoes, cucumbers, grilled chicken and boiled shrimp. I also eat wheat crackers and watermelon. It really is true what they say that you will start to crave veggies and fruits; I have very little or no desire for fatty foods and sweets. Just the thought of it can make me queasy!! I finally feel like the chains that have bound me all of my life have been removed. I really don't put much effort into this lifestyle and rarely think about it anymore. I do have to start an exercise program though (my bad), I know it will increase the weight loss results.
