BFing moms with allergic babies - should I switch from total elim. diet to SCD?

Hi all...I've been lurking for a while but hoping to hear from anyone

who has been in my position.

My 10-month-old clearly has some food sensitivities but I am not sure

how extensive they are. I know for sure dairy and/or soy are part of

the problem since her GI problems improved about 50% when I cut those

out.

For the last month I've been eliminating more and more foods (top 8

allergens, corn, legumes, all glutens, etc).

I'm currently on turkey, millet, and pears. (Day 2 of this).

From what I've read about SCD, I'd love to switch over but I'm scared

to death to make the leap. She's about 80% better at this point but

I'm still trying to get her GI problems resolved to the point where I

start seeing some normal dirty diapers to get a baseline to go by.

I don't have a lot of faith in the testing that's been done so far

(still awaiting results) and want to use food elimination and trials

to determine what's hurting her.

Guess I'm just looking for similar stories and success with the SCD.

Thanks

Lucy

Please do not use the millet.

Try the SCD intro diet and the follow up for one month. It will provide

more than you are currently feeding.

As healing takes place, usually food sensitivities diminish. Things

seem difficult at the start as so many changes are taking place in the

body but others will report that sticking out the " die off " and

resistance of picky eaters, paid off handsomely down the road.

The testing is not always indicative of what is going on
