Guest guest
Hi Chrissy! I can understand that you must be confused but surely you must also be pleased? I am DELIGHTED about the normal tests and you must be very relieved. You'll now wait until Dr Cotton has given his opinion, I presume? I'm sure you're already starting to find further info on the Whipple?! I know this is very major surgery but still, it is not as major as the total, is it? You must do something, I think, because of the awful pain. Does the doc think there is no chance of the situation improving on its own with time? Thanks for keeping in touch. I'm sorry not to live in Carolina. I think it's a bit inconsiderate of you not to decide to meet in Merseyside, but there we are!! As for Heidi's suggestion of a " Left- elbow " club....well, that is just blatant discrimination against those of us with right foot pain!!!! Anyone want to start a right foot pain club?! I can't have a club all on my own! Take care Chrissy and I hope things move quickly now, whichever direction they take. Could it be that they wish to reduce the diabetes risk by choosing the Whipple rather than the TP? (The ICT doesn't always prevent diabetes does it?) I think they like to do the least invasive procedure they can get away with when it comes to the pancreas. With love, Fliss
