Guest guest
Well, it has been the computer marathon of my life! PLEASE do let me know if there is anything untoward about my posts, or the effect they appear to have in terms of computer function--we are not talking " flames " here--we are talking 0011-01-1100-10-0-1-10, etc., in a word the baby babble of computers. I explained to my 83-year-old neighbor that maintaining a computer is like having quintuplets with allergies, cf, cp, md, and whooping cough! However, I am happy to admit, modesty being my most well-known fea ture, that having terrorized 46 Gateway techs in India, 7 in the usa, and 6 in Canada, ONE tech, a genius, gave me a clue; she was in Alabama! Then some little bell went off in my left ear or something and suddenly it dawned on me what I had to do. And I did it. So, having had virtually no sleep for six days (did sleep last night as I had to have an endoscopy (easy and good results) today, and having spent about 16-18 hours per 24 hours each of all but one day, I finally beat the old hog (the computer, not me) into submission. The little fel low is finally behaving itself, purring along smoothly. Do let me know whether there are any deffects that you all notice from my posts! No one so far has said a thing to me about it, so what I am assuming is that by taking my usual lightening action (seven joint replace ment surgeries here, and severe arthritis), disaster has been averted. So, the computer, the little feller who dominates me, my telephone and my practical communication is, I HOPE, back in business, and so am I! Love to all my friends on all the lists which I am on, that deal with cystic fibro sis and chronic lung disease, and to their computers, too! n Rojas, the cyber menace (formerly, we hope, if at all!)
