Tort can definitely cause a crooked smile, and possibly plagio too.

Someone else was posting that it could look more crooked with only

some of the teeth in, although I don't know if that is true or not. I

don't think it is neurological, but maybe it is good that your doctor

is checking.

Let us know what that neuro says & good luck.

How many teeth does your daughter have? Is it possible that her jaw

might have been a little crooked even before the band and you just

didn't notice because she didn't have any teeth? Once the top and

bottom teeth come in, I can see it being more noticeable because you

can actually see where the teeth are supposed to line up. My son

appeared to have a crooked jaw earlier when he had only a handful of

teeth, but now that he has a full mouth full, it doesn't look

crooked anymore. He also had tort though which has been resolved, so

maybe that had something to do with it as well.

Please let us know what the specialist says.
