Guest guest
Dear , I admire you for your attempt to go back to work a few hours as you did in order to keep your mind and body stimulated. I agree with that attitude and philosophy and have been trying myself, to keep working a couple hours each day. Since I'm self employed, doing this is much easier for me than it is for you, since you are subject to the hours or days that an employer has available. I didn't quite understand whether yesterday's experiement was successful or not. Did the charge nurse demand too much of you? Of course it's ridiculous that she didn't even read your list of restrictions, because if she had she may have been able to give you things to do that fell within your physical capabilities. As I said, I didn't quite understand how yesterday went, but by the tone of your post, you shouldn't quite let down. If it didn't work out for you, then I'm sorry to hear that, and I hope that there might be something else you could do there that you could tolerate. Good luck, and keep us updated on whether or not you are able to find some source of employment to keep your mind alive. With hope, prayers and love, Heidi Heidi H.
