Hi Everyone,

My name is Tracey. We have just started the diet on Sunday. I just want to

make sure we are doing things right. Our 3 year old is clasically autistic and

our 15 year old is adhd. For the past 18 months we have been following the

failsafe diet. This is a free of additives and low in salicylates, amines and

flavour enhancer diet. We were also dairy, wheat, gluten and soy free. Both

girls improved immensley. Becky started speaking. Teagan could concentrate

better. I want them to be able to eat more varieties of fruit and veg.

At the moment we have been having fried and boiled eggs, boiled and grilled beef

and lamb , apple mashed up, green beans and carrots mashed. We made some jelly

and added honey to it as well. Tomorrow I was thinking of adding in pears. We

have been having withdrawals especially Becky. She's not as social. Her bowel

movements have always been good or normal. Does that mean we can move on or

should we stay where we are? Will we have to use probiotics if her movements

are fine?

The only grape juice I found were dark and they had added flavour to it. It was

sugarfree. Would this be suitable?

Sorry for so many questions.

Tracey - doing it for moral support (3 days)

Teagan 15 - adhd

Becky 3 - classically autistic
