I agree with the blood work theory. Mine is always

o.k. My rheumy does not base his diagnoses on blood

work. Sharon

High liver enzymes are certainly not unknown for WLS patients, but if I were

you I wouldn't panic yet. And I would definately not allow a liver biopsy

without doing a few more labs, and maybe getting a second opinion.

When my liver enzymes were slowly creeping up, I started taking Milk

Thistle. The next labs were normal. There has actually been some scientifc

testing of milk thistle and it was found to be effective.
