Guest guest Posted August 2, 2003 Report Share Posted August 2, 2003 High liver enzymes are certainly not unknown for WLS patients, but if I were you I wouldn't panic yet. And I would definately not allow a liver biopsy without doing a few more labs, and maybe getting a second opinion. When my liver enzymes were slowly creeping up, I started taking Milk Thistle. The next labs were normal. There has actually been some scientifc testing of milk thistle and it was found to be effective.
