Guest guest
There is one thing that a couple of docs have mentioned. I would have my pancreas removed here, then it will be sent to Cicni for the ilets to be harvested and they would be shipped back to ton to be then injected into me. I thought the doc who did my EUS had said that, he did 2 biopsies when he said he would not do any, and then mentioned it the other day. I guess I have time to think now that I have finished all the required duties for the week. I was under the inpressions that islet cells do not live long outside the body. I also understand that there have been studies where the islet cells are placed in anti-oxidents and/or polypeptide solution to increse the shelf life so to speak. Have any of ya'll heard of this? I also know that we will need 3000cells per kilogram of my weight, thats a lot of cells? Also they had me do a fecal elastase(sp?) test. Have any of ya'll had that test? Mine came back negative, which I think is good. Well ya'll that know me know that I am also a writer. WEll I have written my epitaph. I think it is very good and would like to share it and get some input. Let me know if any of ya'll are interested. I am not being morbid, but I do need to have something on paper and this is a start. If I dont get some resolution from this problem, I think I may take the Kevorkian route. I'm not trying to be pity person, just dont see the need to destroy my family and spare them as much burden as possible. Every single thing I have ever done during the second half of this life I had done so for my family. It used to include my siblings, but that can no longer be. Stay well ya'll
