Guest guest
There are a lot of bariatric surgical styles out there and every surgeon thinks his or hers is the best. Wouldn't you want it that way? Everyone wants that comfort in knowing (thinking) that their surgeon is the very best. Our job is to sort through it all and make our determination as knowledgeably as possible. The surgeons here in Michigan do the open Rny. Their published information say the Rny is difficult to do laparoscopically and is unsafe. When I really pushed them, they admitted the the Michigan Board of Health would not approve the procedure laparoscopically. They had been trained in it, but they still couldn't do it. Remember, its their business, but its your health. I've done my homework and its Dr Rutledge and the MGB! Impatiently awaiting approval, Ken Grakauskas grakau19@...
