Guest guest
Hi all Even on the Imuran you will still have flares but they are nothing like they used to be when I wasn't on the it. It takes awhile for it to start working but after that it is a lot easier on you. Lots of Love Glenda T Hi,I'm curious.....when did you start taking the Imuran? Also, what strength? I started taking it about 3 months ago, and still have minor-medium flares. My doc told me it will take 3 months (minimum) to 6 months (maximum) for it to start "working." I'm SLOWLY lowering my Prednisone dosage, and am now down to 6 mg. I don't feel good a lot of the time, but think it could be due to other illnesses I have. Take care, and I hope each day finds you feeling better and better.Love, T. I started the Imuran last week Wed. so it's still new. I am on 150 mg taken in the morning. I was told by my rheumy 2-3 weeks. Some of the people on board have said longer. Maybe some of you out there that are on Imuran can give us some help. I go back to the Dr. in 3 weeks & get blood work a couple days before I go so he can see what my blood count & other stuff are so he knows how to adjust the Imuran & Pred. God how I hope it will work. love ya, susiecueDISCLAIMER!!WE ARE NOT MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS, THEREFORE ANY INFORMATION THAT IS RECEIVED HERE IS FROM EXPERIENCE ONLY.
