Guest guest
My 4yr old always has loose stools. Through his pediatrician we just did an IgE allergy test and a celiac test. Celiac was negative. The IgE showed very low level reaction to wheat, orange, and peanuts. However, the total IgE level was pretty high. So, he is reacting to something that was not tested. He also recently had an Organic Acid Test done showing yeast and bacteria levels that are too high. Here are my questions: Can yeast and/or bacteria impact IgE levels? (I am extremely ignorant about this, please forgive me) We are shortly going to be starting SCD; will it alleviate the allergies? Is there a need to go to the next level, ie an allergy specialist to further seek out what he might be reacting too? Thank you!
