Guest guest
I don't think I have pseudocysts, but my pain turns to severe in the late afternoon or early evening. It's been this way since I was diagnosed with the malabsorption in November. I think maybe it has something to do with eating. I usually have lunch around noon and dinner around 4:30 p.m., so I figure because my pancreas has worked for the past four hours, it's getting sore. Since I've been home, whether I'm hurting or not, I take two hydrocodones at noon or so. This seems to help with the severity of the pain. When I was working, and the pain wasn't too bad, I would hold off until I got home around 11 p.m. to take any pain medications. Sometimes at work, if I started to hurt too bad, I would take a motrin. The pain would build at work to a crescendo from about 4 p.m. until 11 p.m. On the rare occasion, I'd say about 15 percent of the time, I wake up in the morning with bad pain. When this happens, I know it's going to be a very bad day. Tammy
